Reconstitute the Vial

Draw bacteriostatic water into a syringe and inject slowly down the side of the lyophilized peptide vial. Gently swirl — do not shake.

// 02

Confirm Concentration

Concentration (mcg/mL) = vial mass (mg) × 1000 ÷ BAC water volume (mL). A 10mg vial in 2mL gives 5,000 mcg/mL.

// 03

Calculate Draw Volume

Draw volume (mL) = desired dose (mcg) ÷ concentration (mcg/mL). On a 100 IU/mL insulin syringe, multiply mL × 100 to get tick marks.
